Whether you’re in the air or on the ground or even at home, there’s always something you can do to make a positive change for the planet. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by climate change, but we’re here to support each other as we transition to more sustainable practices.
Voluntary Carbon Program
At Jetstar, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. The Qantas Group has been addressing its emissions through purchasing and investing in carbon projects for more than a decade.
Our Voluntary Carbon Program is a not-for-profit program. That means 100% of your contribution goes towards projects that work to prevent, remove or reduce carbon emissions, while supporting local communities. Over the years, the Qantas Group has invested your money into more than 40 projects in Australia and around the world.
Starkids Partnership
StarKids is a charitable partnership between Jetstar and World Vision Australia. It's mission is to transform the lives of communities living in poverty and to give kids a brighter future. Together with World Vision, we support their humanitarian relief and community-based development projects in Australia and across Asia. Since we started back in 2007, we have raised more than $12 million for World Vision projects.
Our StarKids Program
Being part of StarKids, Jetstar's charity in partnership with World Vision, gives me the chance to contribute towards making a positive difference to lives of children living in poverty in the places we fly to.
Giving the Dream: Our Employee Giving Program
Every day, we make travel more accessible for people with our great low fares. We are also give our people the opportunity to make these experiences possible for people who are doing good, or who might just need a bit of a break or helping hand. Our Employee Giving Program, Giving the Dream, invites nominations from our employees and awards a $1000 Jetstar flight voucher to five worthy recipients each month.
