As our new Maintenance Programs Engineer, you will be responsible to assess and develop approved maintenance programs (AMP) for our Jetstar and customer fleets.
With the ability to hold Maintenance Program Approval (MPAE) on behalf of CAMO to approve AMP variation and concession, your ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders will be of the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure ICA’s are assessed and incorporated within each AMP as per NAA specification.
  • Deliver AMP revision for Qantas Group AOC’s as per agreed timeline
  • Provide annual effectiveness review for the AMP content
  • Manage line check list requirement
  • Review and Approve AMP variation/concession as required
  • Work with reliability and Fleet management team to provide most optimise AMP schedule to maximise asset availability
  • Support internal and external stakeholders to setup project for success. 
  • Engage key vendors & partners where required.
  • Work closely with Aircraft Induction team to ensure aircraft induction and transfer are captured within the MP workload

Your ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders will be of the highest standard and will set you up for success in this highly challenging role. Additional skills and qualifications include:

  • A degree qualification within the Engineering field
  • Proven and demonstrated experience working with Airbus and Boeing ICA for AMP review
  • Developed experience in AMP development
  • Experience with NAA 
  • Qualification in MSG-3 process (highly desired)
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Positive attitude towards change, feedback and improvement opportunities. 
  • Ability in taking abstract business ideas and concepts and converting them into processes and policies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and strategically.
